Providing for the health, happiness and wellbeing of young Tasmanians in need.

 

Sunshine Association of Tasmania provides financial assistance to children in need on an individual basis through 3 regional committees in Tasmania. The committees, consisting of voluntary community members, exist to encourage, assess and meet requests for financial assistance for children.   Such requests may come from schools, community groups, school social workers, teachers and other professionals who work with children and their families.

 

Funding may be available for:

• camps/excursions

• recreation,sport and leisure

• scholarships and educational assistance  

• personal needs

• all submissions are tabled for consideration however assistance is provided at the discretion of the committee.

 

The Sunshine Association of Tasmania is a charity for young people up to 18 years of age. We are proudly self-funded and have Deductible Gift Recipient status (DGR) with the ATO. We encourage public donations to support our target group and future operation. All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
